2026 Theatrical Arts Scholarship
A scholarship of up to $1000 is available to students aged 8-22, who have demonstrated a commitment to developing their artistic talent in acting, voice, dance or in theater production, and have participated in at least one AVP production in the past four years. The scholarship funds can be used for any artistic development, such as classes or private instruction in acting, voice, dance, costuming, etc., or tuition to a school or camp program offering such instruction.
Selection to be based on the following criteria:
- Completion of the Annisquam Village Players Theatrical Arts Scholarship application.
- A recommendation from a performing arts teacher or instructor.
- A statement from the applicant, or a parent or guardian, regarding financial need.
- A written personal response (300 words or less) to one of the following essay prompts:
- Please describe how the scholarship would help you develop your skills in the theatrical arts (acting, voice, dance or production) and how this will help you in the future. OR
- Describe your current involvement in theater arts in or outside of school, and what skills you would like to develop further.
(Essays must be typed and double-spaced)

Please put in subject line “Scholarship Application_Student’s Last Name. Recommendations should be emailed directly to Victoria Fortune. Only completed applications will be considered.
